From mineral resources engineering to speeding up the food transition
I noticed that I haven’t fully introduced myself with my complete story yet. And even most people who have known me for a while just have seen a small part of my quite diverse experiences that have driven my journey and ideas so far.
Hence, I summarized my story in the presentation below.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜’𝗺 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻
I’m supporting food companies and impact organizations as a freelance operations & strategy consultant by establishing a structure of reliable and efficient processes, as well as analyzing impact levers to work towards their purpose more effectively or solve their largest challenges faster.
𝗠𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
I’m aiming to maximize my personal impact to make the world step by step a better and happier place by establishing a more sustainable nutrition.
𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗜 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺
- Mineral resources engineer with a study focus on process technologies and several mining internships (Australia, Austria, Colombia)
- Passionate cook and traveller, mostly having built these interests during my studies where I also organized cooking events (e.g. running dinners) and trips (e.g. an academic excursion to central Asia)
- Hobby Lacrosse player; often ambitious, which unfortunately also led to injuries
- Travel blogger who tends to write too long texts and to take too many photos (as you can see on my personal blog and Instagram, too)
- BCG strategy consultant to widen my horizon past mineral resources and learn many valuable skills
- Occasional philosopher about life and society with big dreams and realistic checks
- Food Start-Up COO in the fair chocolate start-up JOKOLADE who built up the company across almost all departments, but with most experience in supply chain and inventory management
- Effective altruist with the intention to maximize my personal impact
- Freelance consultant working to create additional impacts and support sustainable food start-ups and impact organizations with a focus on operations, supply-chain and strategy
- ...
𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗼
I see my future as a journey where I keep moving forward on a path towards the maximization of my personal impact by either creating additional positive impact for a better live on a healthy planet directly with every step or learning and developing to open doors to more impactful projects in the future.
❓ Is there anything you would like to know more about?
Do you feel like other people know you well or do you have many hidden talents?

The idea for this post originated when I made almost the same catch-up presentation for a reunion with some old friends 11 years after I met them in Australia and thought that I can use this personal presentation on social media, too. I made it more professional now, but it still shows my story and motivation with the personal touch that is an important part of it.
Let me know whether you think it was a good idea to share it :)
