Introducing my three service areas as a freelance consultant: Analyze, Build, Optimize

What I’m working in as a freelance consultant is a mix of what I’ve been doing in my previous jobs in consulting at BCG, building up the food start-up JOKOLADE as COO, and my personal motivation and approach for my work life to “maximize my personal impact to make the world step by step a better and happier place”:

🔍 Impact Analyses: I analyze and identify effective levers for purpose-driven organizations and support their team to implement them.
--> This is my “new product development” with the highest impact potential and also my main motivation to start communicating more often. There are usually many options to work on a specific purpose, but they can differ extremely in effectivity. In order to move more with the same effort, it is important to work on the right things.

🏛️ Business Building: I consult founders in the process of building up their food start-ups with an efficient operations setup.
--> This is the most fun and energizing part where I work with young and highly-motivated teams that have all options and work to create the products of tomorrow for a better future. With them, it is required to actually dream a bit about the future to create a vision.

⚒️Operations Optimizations: I create clear structures and reliable processes to improve daily operations of food companies that “grew too quickly” for their operations team or better: for companies that want to prepare their daily operations to scale up smoothly.
--> This is meant to be my core business (or cash cow) that companies with running revenue streams both can afford and need in order to keep their costs and complexity low.

Throughout these service areas, the consulting part by creating strategies and making recommendations could be the more effective part as long as the strategies are properly implemented. Offering the freelancing part to temporarily join my clients’ teams for the implementation can thus be very helpful to enable a successful execution. In addition, freelancing creates a chance of longer lasting income streams for me while leveraging one of my strongest character traits for my client’s success: my conscientiousness.

🎯I know that focusing on one topic could create a more successful (profitable) business and is usually suggested, but that’s not my primary objective. I want to create more impact and continue having fun, especially if I work self-determined.
